2 rutabagas, tourneed
6 baby carrots
2 chestnuts
salt and pepper, to taste


Heat olive oil in saute pan. Add vegetables; sear on all sides until brown. Transfer to oven; roast at 400 degrees F until tender, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper; reserve warm.
