Tosa Joyu Dipping Sauce

1/4 cup Japanese all-purpose soy sauce
1 tbsp. sake
2 tbsp. pre-flaked katsuobushi (dried bonito)
dash of MSG


Combine the soy sauce, sake, katsuobushi and MSG in a small saucepan and bring to a boil uncovered, stirring constantly. Strain through a fine sieve and allow to cool.
