1 8-inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 cup butter
1-1/3 cups sugar
2 tbsp. flour
3 large eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 tbsp. vanilla


Melt butter. Stir in sugar and flour. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Blend well and pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes until set. Cool before serving.
